Nancy Sweet, interim dean of applied and emerging technologies, was interviewed on FOX Springfield’s Good Day Illinois yesterday regarding the Transportation and Industrial Expo July 16. She will be a guest this morning at 8:10 a.m. on Sports Radio 1450 and tomorrow on WMAY for broadcast at a later date.

Jolene Lamb, coordinator, LLCC Culinary Institute, provided a cooking demonstration of baba ghanoush on WICS last week and discussed the cooking demonstrations from the LLCC Culinary Institute that are taking place at the Illinois Products Farmers Market.

Bill Harmon, agriculture program coordinator, discussed the LLCC ag program in interviews with WSMI and WLDS Radio at the FFA Convention June 11.

Dr. Lesley Frederick, vice president of student services, was interviewed by WICS news on LLCC’s partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Illinois to again offer the Career Launch program. Participants arrived yesterday for a day of “get to know you” activities. They’ll be on campus two days a week learning about careers including computer science, agriculture, health care, creative writing and many others.

Laurel Bretz, director of community education, was interviewed by WICS news on the upcoming College for Kids program.

John Marsaglia, head softball coach, and Joe Zimmerman, assistant softball coach, were interviewed by Sports Radio 1450 this morning about their final season coaching LLCC softball and their legacy with the program.
