Julie Rourke, director, Workforce Development, was interviewed by WICS about a shortage of workers in Illinois manufacturing and the LLCC Workforce programs preparing students for work in the industry.

LLCC was featured in a story on WICS-TV and an article in the SJ-R regarding the Worldwide Youth Science and Engineering (WYSE) regional level academic challenge held on campus Feb. 2. More than 350 high school students from 22 area high schools competed at the event.

Dr. John Vinzant, professor of political science, was interviewed on the Iowa caucuses yesterday morning on WTAX’s Morning Newswatch. John is not only an expert on the subject, but is also from Iowa and has participated in the caucuses. Hear the interview.
