Canvas Communication: Course Backups

Canvas. LLCC Lincoln Land Community College.
The end of the semester is fast approaching … and there are some recommendations that we have for end-of-the-semester course management that we will be sharing here this week and next. For this week, the topic is Course Backups.

The first recommendation that we have is to keep a backup of your course grade book. The best way to do this is to export the grades in your course grade book to your computer or a secure external storage device.

It is also recommended that you archive your courses at the end of the semester.  This can be done be exporting each course as a .imscc file which can be saved on your computer or secure storage device. The video below will take you through the process on how to back up your course (or courses).
