Former adjunct horticulture instructor, Bill Bolt, passed away on Aug. 7, 2016 at the age of 69. A service will take place Friday, Aug. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Knox Knolls Free Methodist Church in Springfield. Our condolences to his family and friends.

The new 50th logo was designed by Greg Walbert, graphic design manager, Public Relations and Marketing. He also designed the college’s award-winning 40th anniversary logo. Look for the logo on new boulevard banners leading into campus soon!
In preparation for the Energy Monitoring Project, there will be a power outage in Sangamon and Menard Halls beginning at 10:00 p.m. this Friday. The power will be out for approximately three hours. No other outages are expected for the remainder of the project.
We are still seeking a few more volunteers to fill spots at the “welcome table” in A. Lincoln Commons during the first week of fall classes. Help students get a great start to the semester by providing directions, handing out student planners and answering a multitude of questions.
I would like to thank the Lincoln Land Community College family for the cards and thoughts our family received for the loss of my sister. I will cherish your thoughts and prayers forever.
