College Prep Summit today

LLCC is hosting the College Prep Summit today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with activities starting in the Trutter Center. The College Prep Summit is an event that LLCC hosts annually to reach an important group of high school seniors within our district that may benefit from additional encouragement and information as they prepare for the transition to college. The summit provides a unique opportunity for our faculty and staff to work in a collaborative effort with representatives from other colleges and universities throughout the state. Throughout this event, students will have a chance to take part in a college expo, campus tours, mock lectures and a student panel discussion, and will also hear from keynote speaker, Shatoya Black, coordinator, TRIO/Student Support Services at Illinois State University.
