As part of the college’s 50th anniversary, LLCC is hosting the Illinois State Historical Society Symposium April 20-22. The symposium is titled “1917, Year of Turmoil: War and Suffrage” and is observing the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entering WWI. Professors Chris McDonald and Mark Roehrs are presenting at the symposium. LLCC students and faculty are encouraged to attend any of the lectures free without registering by presenting their LLCC ID to the staff manning the welcome desk. Find more information HERE.
