COVID-19 protocol updates/reminders

The college is now requiring vaccinated employees to provide documented proof of their vaccination status to LLCC Human Resources. This can be done by scanning in your vaccination card and sending the file electronically, or by making a copy and delivering to anyone in the Human Resources office. Please do this as soon as possible, so that it is not assumed you are unvaccinated and subject to mask wearing requirements while on campus.

As a reminder, the COVID-19 testing site is open at the Trutter Center on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Routine testing is a great way to ensure you are COVID free and not risking the infection of others.

We continue to strongly encourage all of our employees and students to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. With the prevalence of the Delta variant that is spreading across the country, the best defense against this is to be fully vaccinated. While vaccinations are widely available through the health department and many other locations, LLCC will be holding another vaccination clinic on Aug. 23 from 8:30 a.m.-noon and 4-6:30 p.m.

Return to campus guidelines and COVID protocols

With the beginning of the fall term upon us, please see the Return to Campus Guidelines (must be logged in to Office 365). These guidelines include protocols for handling different situations involving faculty, staff and students who have been exposed to COVID-19, have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19.

If you have any questions regarding this guidelines, please reach out. We need to keep working together to ensure these guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working and learning environment. Thank you all for your efforts, and I hope everyone has a healthy and successful semester!
