Seventy children participated in an afternoon of learning, creativity, and community connection.

LLCC police officer Dan Patterson led the event by volunteering his time and a favorite recipe, “Apple Cheesecake Blossoms.” With the assistance of five LLCC OTA students, Officer Patterson helped each child assemble their own dessert, which was later baked by the BGC staff.

Adding to the holiday spirit, the children decorated Thanksgiving cards that included a copy of Officer Patterson’s recipe to share with their families. Lots of fun was had by all and we hope to make this an annual Thanksgiving event.
