The LLCC Black Student Union made use of the after-hours study space in Trutter this past Sunday. BSU students were able to use this uninterrupted time to work on upcoming assignments and prepare for finals week. The students also received a visit from Ember while studying. LLCC staff Brandon Lewis, Kim Wilson, Lisa Clanton and Andre Rye volunteered their Sunday afternoons and also provided much needed study snacks! Thank you to LLCC Police Department for their assistance as well.

Thank you from BSU
LLCC’s Black Student Union would like to thank Phi Theta Kappa and everyone who donated coats to the One in a Million, Inc. kids coat drive. We donated over 40 coats to help children stay warm this winter. BSU club members also volunteered on Saturday to help with the distribution of over 300 coats to families! If you know of any students whose school-age children are still in need of coats, please have them contact Kim Wilson, BSU advisor. Again, we thank you!
