The Student Radiographer Association spent time last week volunteering with HSHS Mission Outreach, an organization that accepts medical supply donations from all over the U.S. The donations are sorted at the center then shipped overseas to various countries in need.

Club members were given an unusual assignment! They ended up sorting, folding and boxing more than 425 freshly laundered sheets and blankets. These supplies are being sent to a medical facility in Tanzania.

Participating club members are current students in LLCC’s Associate Degree Radiography Program and always demonstrate a strong commitment to bettering health care concerns across the world!

Those in attendance included Kayla Wittenauer, Chelsea Todd, McKayla Clark, Haylee Kirkman, Lauryn Klobnak, Ainsley Matheis, Kelsi Murphy, Jared Smothers, Chris Young and club advisor Janelle Murphy.
