What does that mean for you?
You need to cancel your Zoom Pro subscription by March 5.
If you currently have a paid Zoom Pro account associated with your LLCC email account and paid or reimbursed to you by the college, you need to cancel it March 5. Your account will continue to work because it is already associated with the college’s Zoom Education license. If you fail to cancel your Zoom Pro subscription, the credit card provided will continue to be charged, but the college will not be responsible for the charges incurred after March 5.
Cancel your Zoom Pro subscription by emailing subscriptions@zoom.us requesting to cancel your Zoom Pro subscription since your account is now has a Zoom EDU license.
You will receive a refund if applicable.
The cost of Zoom Education license is lower than a regular Zoom Pro license. If you prepaid your subscription for a year, Zoom will refund the prorated license cost difference for the remainder of the subscription period directly into the credit/debit card used at the time of purchase. I you paid with a personal credit/debit card and were refunded for it by the college, we encourage you to donate it to the LLCC Foundation to help our students when received.
The regular one-year Zoom Pro subscription is $149.90 per license. The discounted Zoom Education is $50 per license.
