Please join us in welcoming Brooke Rhoades, academic success specialist for the TRIO Student Support Services program. She has served as an adjunct English instructor for the college since 2010 and worked with TRIO programs at Richland Community College and the University of Maine. Brooke attended Illinois Central College in Peoria and transferred to Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in American history. She went on to earn a master’s degree in English with a focus on composition at the University of Maine. TRIO is also pleased to have Fabiola Gonzalez as program assistant. Fabiola has held previous positions at LLCC as a student worker in Student Life and in Student Success (formerly Advising, Counseling & Career Services).  She earned her associate degree with a concentration in business administration from LLCC in May 2019.  Fabiola plans to transfer to University of Illinois-Springfield in fall 2019.  She will major in legal studies.
