The Art Association of Jacksonville is showcasing “A Place Kinder Than Home” Nov. 4-26 at the David Strawn Art Gallery, 331 W. College Ave., Jacksonville. An opening reception will be held Saturday, Nov. 4 from 6-8 p.m. The art show features the work of eight artists, including Leslie Stalter and Thom Whalen, LLCC professors of art.
