The Feminist Activist Coalition student club at LLCC is issuing a public call for theatre monologues, dialogues or ensemble pieces depicting personal stories about identity. How has gender, sex, race, ethnicity, age, able-bodiedness, body image, sexuality, etc. impacted your experiences in the world?
We are looking for dynamic, reflective solo or small ensemble pieces that would last from one to seven minutes for a show we are sponsoring, which will be performed the weekend of March 31-April 1 at the Trutter Center, on campus of LLCC. While anyone of any age may write and submit a piece, performers must be at least 18 years old. We do anticipate the show will have adult language and themes.
Send all submissions by Jan. 16, 2017 to FAC club advisor, Dr. Deborah Brothers, professor of English via deborah.brothers@llcc.edu
