Student Accounts in the Finance Department is pleased to announce that we have a new group phone number!  We believe this will allow us to assist students and members of our community in a faster, more efficient manner.  The phone number is 217.786.2480.

The group phone number should assist you in transferring students to us as you’ll only need to remember one phone number instead of looking up 3 different numbers and trying to remember what order to call us.

There is voicemail in case all 3 of us are assisting other students or away from our desks and that will be monitored regularly.

We still have our direct phone numbers if you need to speak with one of us specifically.

The 2015 W-2 tax forms are now available on WebAdvisor to all employees who elected to receive their form electronically. All printed W-2 forms will be mailed on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016. Due to recent changes in postal carrier delivery and pick up services, all outgoing mail now needs to be in the duplication/mail services area by 3:00 p.m. in order for it to be mailed out the same day.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Coloring for adults has become very popular of late and is considered to be a great way to relieve stress. So, the Finance Department decided that instead of wearing ugly Christmas sweaters this year, we would color them. The contest was held Wednesday, Dec. 16 with Thom Whalen, art professor, serving as the guest judge. The winners were: Most Creative Ugly Sweater: Dorothy Marshall; 1st Runner-up Ugly Sweater: Cheryl Sneed; Best Ugly Sweater: Elyse Calhoun. Please feel free to stop by the Finance Department to see all of the entries.

LLCC is happy to announce a new refund method available to students. Effective immediately, students can elect to have their refunds (including leftover financial aid) deposited electronically (ACH) to their bank accounts.

Reasons to consider selecting the ACH refund option.
● Since ACHs are electronic and don’t go through the mail as paper checks do, students are able to access  funds up to a day earlier than paper check.
● Eliminates the chance that a student’s refund will be lost, delayed or inadvertently delivered to somebody else.
● Eliminates the need to take the check to be deposited or cashed.
● No concern if a student has relocated but forgot to update their address with the college.
● Perfect option for going GREEN.
