Online insurance open enrollment tasks due today
Today, June 6, is the deadline to complete all FY20 insurance open enrollment activities. These tasks must be completed by all benefit-eligible employees. If you have gone online and completed all of your open enrollment tasks, thank you! There is nothing more you need to do. For those who have yet to complete open enrollment, please click on the following link and login with your LLCC username and password: https://llcc.peopleadmin.com/hr/sessions/new.
Once you are logged in, click on the three dots in the upper left-hand corner and select Employee Records. You should see a list of tasks for you to complete. Simply select View for each item and follow the instructions provided.

Complete open enrollment for benefits by June 6
As a reminder, the annual open enrollment process for all benefit options is being conducted entirely online. On Monday, May 6, you received an email prompting you to complete tasks related to open enrollment. The email contained a link to access your open enrollment tasks. You will use your LLCC login credentials to access the system. You will be immediately taken to the My Tasks page, which will list all of the items you must complete. Please view each item and complete according to the instructions by no later than Thursday, June 6, 2019. To aid you in completing this process, a benefit statement was mailed to your home and listed what your current coverage is for all options.
Introducing DirectPath
Effective immediately, employees have access to a health care advocacy and consumerism tool, DirectPath. You have access to advocates who can assist you with resolving claims and billing issues, finding a doctor or hospital, assisting with prior authorizations and providing cost and quality comparisons for certain procedures and tests.

Congratulations to the honorees recognized at the Employee Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony May 16!
Dr. Jennifer O’Malley, professor of biology, was named the 2019 Drs. Raymond and Ann Pearson Master Teacher. The award is presented annually to an outstanding full-time LLCC faculty member who practices his or her profession in an exemplary manner. Finalists were Dr. Deborah Brothers, Dr. Paul Hudson, Dr. Judith Nichols and Katie Tice, CPA.
The college also awarded the 2019 Distinguished Service Awards to individuals who demonstrate exemplary leadership and service to the college community, promote a student-focused environment and exhibit a strong commitment to the college’s core values. Distinguished Service Award recipients were Nancy Sweet, director of culinary programs and operations; Linda Brown, adjunct instructor; Bobbi Henry, research and analytics manager; Christine Marietta, administrative assistant, LLCC-Litchfield; and Dr. Brenda Michel, professor of nursing.
Honored for 30 years of service was Dr. Cynthia Maskey.
Employees honored for 25 years of service were Beth Hoffman and Ira Bradley.
Twenty-year service honorees were Lori Smith, Don Loftis, Tony Rothering, Samuel Penning, Michele Layton, Holly Gietl and Julie Clevenger.
Recognized for 15 years of service were Tricia Kujawa, Anita Glydewell, Tracy Kesinger, Tim Humphrey, Stephanie Cummings and Karen Sanders.
Employees recognized for 10 years of service were C.C. Tietjen St. Magnus, Julie Sutfin, Jamie McCoy, Amee Kesky, Shawn Floyd, Cara Swafford, Holly Walton, Doug Whitaker and Doris Williams.
Five-year service honorees were Samuel Bras, Elyse Calhoun, Laurel Bretz, Mary Dellert, Barb Eades, Adrienne Frazier, Sean Edmondson, Jan Szoke, Nick Ferreira, Dr. David Leitner, Janelle Murphy, Tim McKenzie and John Turley.
