Two areas of LLCC Campus Services will have interruptions in services this week and next. This week, the LLCC Bookstore will be closed for its annual physical inventory counts on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29. Next week, Quiznos will be closed on Monday, July 3, reopening the morning of Wednesday, July 5.

Faculty and administrators: Time to order regalia for commencement
LLCC’s Commencement ceremony this year is on Friday, May, 12. Please take time to fill out this short Microsoft Forms questionnaire and submit to Campus Services by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15.

Welcome Russell Michelich
Russell Michelich, LLCC alum, began work at the college as webstore technician in the LLCC Bookstore on Jan. 2. He also teaches part time at the Springfield Art Association. Russell studied art at LLCC and Northern Illinois University and has been working in digital art and oil. He also has experience in inventory management and sales. Nancy Brawner joined the college Dec. 1 as general merchandise technician in the LLCC Bookstore. She previously worked for 10 years at SPARC, managing the SPARC Success Café, job coaching and serving as an employment specialist. Before that, she worked in the cafeteria for District 186. Extended registration hours for week of Aug. 15
There is still time to register for fall 2022 classes at LLCC. The fall semester begins Aug. 20.
During the week of Aug. 15, LLCC Student Services, Bookstore and LLCC-Taylorville will be open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, Aug. 20, Student Services will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The LLCC Bookstore will be open on Saturdays, Aug. 13, 20 and 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Current students may register for classes via LoggerCentral at www.llcc.edu/logger-central. New students should first fill out an application at www.llcc.edu/apply. Students may also visit or call the Springfield campus (217-786-2292) or LLCC Outreach Centers in Jacksonville (217-243-6699), Beardstown (217-323-4103), Taylorville (217-786-2754) or Litchfield (217-786-3401).
In addition to traditional 16-week classes, LLCC has expanded the number of eight-week classes offered. They provide the same content, number of credits, services and support as 16-week classes, but on a different schedule. Bookstore will be closed June 29-30
The LLCC Bookstore will be closed June 29-30 for its annual physical inventory. Online orders may still be placed on the website, but they will not be fulfilled until after the inventory process. Store operations will resume on Tuesday, July 5.

Brandon Townsend has recently joined LLCC as a bookstore stockroom technician. He previously worked as an assistant manager in the paint department at Menards and then transferred to receiving.
