If your plans have changed and you are no longer planning to use your ticket(s), please drop tickets off as soon as possible to Gailyn, Amy or Julie in the Vice President Office suite so that we can redistribute to others who are hoping to join us tomorrow. And if you are interested in attending but don’t yet have a ticket, please contact Gailyn, Amy or Julie.

The finance department would like to remind everyone to submit approved documentation for all accounts payable vouchers that need to be paid in FY21 as soon as possible. The final day to submit invoices/vouchers for FY21 payments is July 15.

We’re looking forward to joining LLCC faculty and staff at the upcoming Springfield Sliders game tomorrow, July 1! The latest weather forecast is in our favor for a beautiful night at the ballpark.

A few logistics: Game time is 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:35. While outside food/drink is permitted in the parking lot, it cannot be brought into the stadium. Concessions are available for purchase inside the stadium. The tickets are “general admission,” so there is no assigned seating. However, we will try to sit together as much as possible. Wear an LLCC shirt, and look for a section with your fellow LLCC colleagues!

There are still a few tickets left! While supplies last, you can pickup two FREE tickets to join us on Thursday, July 1 at the Springfield Sliders home game. Stop by the VP Office Suite in Menard Hall and see Gailyn Draper, Amy Williams or Julie Eason. Gates open at 5:35 p.m. Game time is 6:35 p.m.

Teens in the Boys and Girls Club of Central Illinois had their first Career Launch session of the summer at LLCC yesterday. They spent time on campus with Bill Harmon and Holly Bauman touring the new Kreher Agriculture Center and learning about the many and varied career opportunities available in the field of agriculture!

Please help us congratulate Leslie Catalano, assistant professor of nursing, and her husband on the birth of their new son, Lucas John who was born on May 1. Congratulations to the Catalano family!
