LLCC Institutional Research and Effectiveness staff are available during dedicated drop-in hours weekly during the fall semester. Stop by MCTR 2215 on Tuesdays 8:30-9:30 a.m. Bring your questions or requests. We look forward to seeing you!

LLCC participated in Walk to End Alzheimer’s

LLCC-Team Loggers participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, Sept. 30. They raised awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association, “the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.” LLCC-Team Loggers had 12 members and raised $1,600 for the Alzheimer’s Association so they can continue their great work. Thank you to co-captains Laurie Clemons and Leslie Johnson, and team members Shanda Byer, Sarah Frey, Bobbi Henry, Crystal Norris, Karen Sanders, DeAngelo Thompson, Kassie Thompson, Marina Wirsing, Kirk Yenerall and Carley Young.

Around the World Gourmet Dinner Kit Pickup Event, Friday, Nov. 3

Around the World LLCC Foundation Dinner Kit Pickup. Hosted by LLCC Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts Program. Lincoln Land Community College Foundation.The LLCC Foundation in partnership with LLCC’s Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts program is offering a five-course gourmet dinner kit pickup on Friday, Nov.3. The menu features dishes prepared by culinary students which can be finished and served with a little preparation at home.

Gourmet dinner kits with drink pairings are $150, and each kit serves two people. View the menu and order your gourmet dinner kits today at https://llccfoundation.org/around-the-world. Sign up to volunteer at Hispanic Heritage Month closing fiesta

Mark your calendars to volunteer and attend the National Hispanic Heritage Month Closing Fiesta on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons, and volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help with set up/take down and serving food.

“Fear 101” haunted house opens in one week

Grim reaper graphic. Lincoln Land Community College Fear 101. It's the last exam you'll ever take.“Fear 101” opens on Friday, Oct. 13! The public is invited to attend on Fridays, Oct. 13, 20 and 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6:30-11 p.m.

The evening haunted house is recommended for ages 13 and up. A special “lights on” version for those younger and less adventurous will be held on Oct. 28 from 4-6 p.m.

Fear 101 is sponsored by the LLCC Police Department. Students from construction and art classes assisted in building and decorating the haunted house, which is located in the lower level of Sangamon Hall South.

Admission is $5 and $2 for LLCC students.
