Operation Full Belly a success!

Over the past several weeks, LLCC’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society collected 245 items for the LLCC Food Pantry and raised over $1,700 as part of their Operation Full Belly project. The project’s goal was to restock the pantry with food and hygiene items, as well as educate students on the services available to them. PTK collaborated with LLCC Student Life and TRIO Student Support Services and assembled Thanksgiving-themed meal bags full of shelf-stable side dishes. Thirteen bags were prepared and delivered to students, with an additional seven students receiving grocery gift cards to purchase meals of their choosing.

We are so proud to share this outstanding display of generosity and teamwork! Students who would like to learn more about the LLCC Food Pantry can contact Student Life at 217-786-2241 or StudentLife@llcc.edu.
