Updated Return to Campus Guidelines

View the updated Return to Campus Guidelines for employees. Some changes from previous guidelines are as follows:

  • Building entry and exit ways will no longer be restricted.
  • Temperature kiosks will be removed at building entryways.
  • “Traffic flow” in buildings will no longer be restricted.
  • Individuals with mild symptoms (i.e., runny nose, mild cough, mild sinus symptoms) may return to campus with a negative COVID-19 test result (if requested by LLCC Human Resources).
  • Individuals who have symptoms making them more ill (i.e., fever, chills, muscle aches, sore throat) may return to campus with a negative COVID-19 test result once their symptoms have improved and they are fever free for a minimum of 24 hours.

We will continue to monitor and update our procedures as modifications are made to CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines. It is expected that these guidelines will to continue to evolve over the course of summer as more and more people in our communities become fully vaccinated.

As a reminder, staff coming to campus are required to complete the daily screening on the COVID-19 Symptom Checker app. If you do not yet have access or are not registered for this app, please contact Human Resources so they can get you set up in the system. Once you are set up, you will receive daily notification to complete the symptom tracker app via text, email or both.
