Student Success appointments and virtual walk-ins

LLCC Student Success is excited to announce additional ways for students to meet with their student success coach. The four options are virtual walk-in, in-person appointment, virtual appointment or phone appointment.

Virtual Walk-in

Virtual walk-ins are available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. View student success coach’s virtual walk-in hours. Students will need to enter their seven-digit student ID number or their username (everything before the @llcc.edu in their email address). If the student success coach is available for walk-ins, then you will see their name listed as “Currently seeing virtual walk-ins.”

Meet in-person (by appointment only)

Text 217-441-2415 or call 217-786-2224 to schedule an appointment with a student success coach. Student success coaches are currently rotating working on campus. The following coaches will be on campus to meet with students in-person these weeks:

  • Week of Aug. 3 – Laurie Clemons and Melissa Franzen
  • Week of Aug. 10 – Claire Heffron-McKinney, Richard Hayes and Carley Young
  • Week of Aug. 17 – only virtual walk-ins available

While on campus, visitors/students must adhere to all safety guidelines: www.llcc.edu/covid-19-college-update.

Virtual Appointment

Text 217-441-2415 or call 217-786-2224 to schedule an appointment with a student success coach. Student success coaches prefer to use Microsoft Teams, but they can use Zoom by request. Please note, Zoom does not meet federal privacy law requirements.

Phone Appointment

Text 217-441-2415 or call 217-786-2224 to schedule an appointment with a student success coach. Student success coaches will call the student at the phone number that is given when scheduling the appointment. It is recommended that students have access to a computer to view Logger Central while on the phone with their student success coach.

Whether it is in-person, via video conference or by phone, we are here for students! We do experience an increase in phone calls during this time; so, if possible, we ask that students reach out to us via text, and we will help them as soon as possible. They can text 217-441-2415 or call 217-786-2224 with any questions or concerns.
