Dean Butzow, professor of geography, presented at the 2019 Geography Education in the 21^st Century Conference at Illinois State University on Nov. 2. The conference was organized by the Illinois Geographic Alliance and was attended by geography educators in K-12 and higher education. His presentation was titled, “Using Maps as a Active Learning Tool.”
