LLCC Public Relations and Marketing would like to thank those who helped at Career Day at Northwestern High School in Palmyra on Thursday, Oct. 10. The week of Monday, Oct. 7 was College and Career Readiness Week at NWHS. LLCC staff spoke to all of the senior class during their consumer education classes as well as other high school students during study hall. The students were able to learn about auto technology, culinary and hospitality, truck driver training, aviation mechanics and construction trades. Emily Smith, recruitment specialist, was also there to provide information and answer any questions.

This visit to NWHS was a huge success thanks to LLCC staff who provided information and presented to the NWHS students, including: Christina Courier, Bob Howard, Sheridan Lane, Bob Howard and Tom Spears. The counselor was thrilled with the participation.
