This fall, LLCC will once again be participating in the Springfield Area Arts Council’s On My Own Time (OMOT) program. This unique program provides LLCC faculty and staff an opportunity to display original art they have created outside the office, truly, on your own time. There will be an in-house exhibit at LLCC followed by a city-wide exhibit at the Springfield Art Association showcasing first place award-winning artwork from all participating businesses, agencies and institutions.
LLCC’s in-house exhibit will be featured on the LLCC-Springfield campus September-November.
Faculty and staff may enter up to three artworks each, created since 2016, for a fee of $5 per entry. The fee assists SAAC with costs of the OMOT program. Details and deadlines will be announced at the beginning of fall semester.
So spend time this summer using your imagination and skills to create new artwork! A detailed list of the categories, as well as the rules are attached.
