Tomorrow’s Academic & Innovation eLearning workshops

LLCC Academic Innovation & eLearning is offering a variety of workshops this semester on innovative teaching, internet accessibility and quality matters. Multiple open labs will also be offered. At these open labs, you can stop by to ask questions and receive one-on-one support with Blackboard, SoftChalk, Ally and AFEIS.

The workshops being offered tomorrow are listed below:

  • Send Your Students on a Goosechase! – Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2-2:50 p.m. in S0119. New apps combining online digital resources and mobile technologies allow you to easily create digital scavenger hunts that will keep students engaged and make learning relative and fun for your students. Learn about the Goosechase edu app and how to create your own digital scavenger hunt. It is recommended that you download the free Goosechase App before the workshop date. Register at http://bit.ly/2FyukOQ. Note: Current online faculty participating in the Online Proficiency Program can receive one point for successful completion of this workshop.
  • General Open Lab – Wednesday, Feb. 20, 3-4 p.m. in S0119 – (no registration needed). Do you have questions about how to accomplish something in Blackboard, SoftChalk or Ally, or how to convert existing documents and files into an accessible format? Stop by our General Open Lab for one-on-one support.
