LLCC Culinary hosted the La Petite Delta Academy Tea this past Saturday. Delta Sigma Theta members mentor eighth grade girls and approximately 20 were in attendance for the tea. Also attending were their mothers and members of the Sorority.  Past president of the sorority, Carolyn Farrar, spoke on the traditions of teas in the African-American Culture. Former LLCC adjunct instructor Lesa Schaive presented on etiquette. Traditional savory and pastry items were prepared by culinary students.
