The LLCC Black Student Union is hosting the “Bountiful Blessing Food Drive – Jeans Day” on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. All proceeds will benefit the LLCC Food Pantry. Anyone interested in participating can make a minimum donation of $5 or bring in a minimum donation of 10 nonperishable food items to the Student Life Office. Foods in high demand at the LLCC Food Pantry include:
- Canned pasta-(ready-to-eat/microwaveable bowls)
- Soups (ready-to-eat/microwaveable bowls)
- Tuna pouches or tuna, chicken or ham ready-to-eat kits
- Pop tarts
- Fruit snacks
- Juice
- Macaroni and cheese cups
- Granola bars (protein bars)
- Trail mix
- Crackers
- Cereal bars
- Fruit cups
