The LLCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society is sponsoring an an information table today on organ donation in A. Lincoln Commons from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and an information session this evening from 5-8 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons. The public is invited to attend. Guest speakers will include Karen Kohnke, regional coordinator, organ/tissue donor program, Office of Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White; Joe Gardner, LLCC alum who recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of his heart transplant; and Jay Landers, whose son was an organ donor. Refreshments will be served.
