Soup & Stories on Native American Heritage Month Nov. 6

Native American Heritage Month posterLLCC Student Life and TRIO Student Support Services are hosting the next Soup & Stories program, “Native American Heritage Month: Literature and Conversation,” on Monday, Nov. 6 from noon-2 p.m. in the R.H. Stephens Room. Sheila Walk from the Springfield Area Arts Council will be reading an excerpt from the book, “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.” She will be accompanied by David Tell playing the Native American flute.

The program is open to the LLCC community, but geared toward the development of students. If faculty and staff are interested in attending there is just a $3 charge for the lunch.
