LLCC Recital Series to feature JACK’d this Sunday, Oct. 8

The LLCC Recital Series will feature the premiere performance of JACK’d this Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Trutter Center. JACK’d is comprised of Jason Waddell, LLCC professor of music, on bass guitar and vocals; Aaron Gosnell, tenor sax, wind controller and vocals; Chris Gunn, drumset; and Kevin Carman, guitar.

Music performed will include standards from the 40s to today, with styles of jazz, blues, pop, swing and funk. From “Satin Doll” to “Waiting on the World to Change,” the performers hope to spread their love of music to all.

JACK’d members all have a Taylorville connection. Waddell was born and raised in Taylorville, Gunn is band director at Taylorville High School; Waddell, Gosnell and Carman all graduated from Taylorville High School.
