Need gifts? The Winter Art Sale is the answer!

artsale_4lincin-1Mark your calendar and join us for the second annual Winter Art Sale at the Trutter Center on LLCC’s Springfield campus.  A wide variety of original artwork including ceramics, fine art and more is reasonably priced and would make great gifts for the upcoming holiday season.  All artwork has been created by LLCC students during the fall semester.

On Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m., anyone is welcome to attend the preview party for a $10 admission fee, which includes a first-opportunity to browse and buy art, plus gourmet hors d’oeuvres by LLCC students and music by jazzman Virgil Rhodes and his band, Footprints.  A cash bar will be available.  Reservations are suggested by calling 786.2785.

The art sale continues on Thursday and Friday, December 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Coffee and cookies will be served and the event is free and open to the public.  Purchases can be made with cash, check or credit cards.

This event supports both LLCC art students and programs and the Philip and Mary Kathryn Trutter Museum.  For more, go to http://llccfoundation.org/news-and-events.
