Join us today as LLCC honors veterans at its 21st annual Veterans Day Ceremony. The reception begins at 1 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 1:30 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons.  The American Legion Post 759 Color Guard will post the colors and  Gailyn Draper, administrative assistant to the vice president of student services, will sing the national anthem. The program also includes LLCC Trustee Dennis Shackelford serving as master of ceremonies and LLCC student Lance Corporal Bobby Herpel, U.S. Marine Corps, providing remarks and playing taps. The ceremony is sponsored by the LLCC Student Life Office and honors all veterans including LLCC faculty, staff and students who served in the armed forces.
