LLCC campaign through United Way begins today!

LLCC’s campaign through United Way to give back to our community begins today and runs through Friday, Nov. 4. The college chooses to participate in this campaign to give employees a convenient way to help with the immediate needs of our friends and neighbors, as well as working toward positive change for the future.

uw-toddler2What makes gifts to United Way unique? You can designate your gift to one or more qualified 501(c)3 charitable organizations (see www.secaillinois.org for a list), or make an undesignated gift. An undesignated gift funds programs in Central Illinois addressing greatest needs. You don’t have to decide between helping children, seniors or individuals needing a warm meal and a place to stay. An investment in United Way improves our community by wrapping services around families and individuals by investing in programs aligned with Basic Needs, Education, Financial Stability and Health. Dedicated volunteers, with issue area specific expertise, evaluate local programs from United Way Community Partners and make sure your investment is making the greatest impact possible.

Please return your pledge forms, which were sent to your employee mailbox, to your employee representative by Nov. 4.

Thank you!
