Enrollment open for health and dental insurance through June 4

The annual open enrollment process for health and dental insurance has begun and ends Thursday, June 4. You must go online (Online Enrollment Instructions) to complete the enrollment process if you are:
• changing plans;
• adding/dropping dependents;
• contributing to a medical and/or dependent care flexible spending account; and/or
• declining health insurance coverage.

PRINT A CONFIRMATION AFTER COMPLETING THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR YOUR RECORDS. CHANGES/ENROLLMENTS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 4, 2015.

If you are keeping your current LLCC health and dental insurance plans AND not adding/dropping dependents, there is nothing you need to do. Your current information will roll into the next plan year that begins July 1, 2015.

At its regular meeting on April 22, 2015, the Board of Trustees approved changes to the Open Access Plan and proposed premiums for the 2015-2016 plan year. Effective July 1, 2015, LLCC will be utilizing a new dental insurance carrier, Cigna. Employees enrolled in dental insurance effective July 1, 2015 will be mailed new dental insurance cards to their home. Please be on the lookout for the new cards as they will likely be mailed in a plain, non-descript envelope and may appear to be junk mail at first glance. Once you receive your new dental insurance card, please securely discard your old card. To review a schedule of dental benefits, please click HERE.

In compliance with the Affordable Care Act, LLCC has provided a Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) for each plan offered. This document, in a standard format, summarizes important information about each health coverage option to help you compare across options. This document is meant to help you compare plans. You may contact the Human Resources Office for a paper copy. Please refer to the Schedule of Benefits above for more specific plan information.
