You can make your donation to the LEAGUE Campaign now or at the kickoff–2017 Enrollment Form. LEAGUE is the annual giving campaign for LLCC faculty and staff to make charitable donations for grants, programs, scholarships and other important needs. The campaign always features a lot of fun, but the dollars raised are for a serious purpose – to support our students. So on their behalf thank you!
Stop by the Foundation today, level one, Menard Hall, and join the LEAGUE!
Thanks to generous donations to the Foundation’s LEAGUE campaign, $10,000 was awarded last year for a variety of grants that are now “working” in programs at LLCC. View the list of benefactors: LEAGUE grant dollars 3-17
Attention faculty and staff! There is still time to enter the Decorate Your Office Door Contest for LEAGUE. Grab your co-workers and join in the fun. The department or center with the most votes will be declared the winner and will win a jeans day in May. Decorating should be completed by noon on Monday, March 27. LEAGUE is an acronym for Leaders Establishing Annual Gifts Underwriting Education and is the annual opportunity for LLCC faculty and staff to make charitable donations back to the college. Funds raised go directly to support LLCC students through scholarships, grants and other Foundation funds. No LEAGUE dollars are used for operating expenses for the LLCC Foundation.
Nearly half of all LLCC faculty and staff donate to the LLCC Foundation. Besides the great work you do every day, LLCC faculty and staff truly support their own. Join us for the kickoff celebration of this year’s LEAGUE campaign on Professional Development Day, Tuesday, March 28 at 11:30 am in the Student Union.
Most people say a personal connection is the main reason for charitable giving and because they feel it’s the right thing to do. And what better investment than our students? You’re truly making their lives better with the gift of education.
Are you up for a little fun and creative competition with your fellow faculty and staff members? Do you enjoy a friendly game now and then? Join the LEAGUE Committee for a little fun and excitement in anticipation of this year’s annual faculty and staff giving campaign known as LEAGUE with the the LEAGUE Door Decorating Contest! The department with the most votes will be declared the winner and will win a jeans day in May. See the guidelines for more details: LEAGUE Door Decorating Contest Guidelines with Photos

Now through January 31, the LLCC Foundation is accepting applications for LEAGUE grants. Faculty and staff make these grants possible through their generous giving to the annual faculty and staff campaign each spring known as LEAGUE.
The Foundation will award approximately $10,000 as a direct result of the success of the annual faculty and staff campaign. Grant guidelines, application and budget worksheet are available here, or may be obtained at: www.llccfoundation.org/educational-support.
Donations to the LEAGUE campaign support LLCC students through the LEAGUE grant program, scholarships, and other funds, including the “Pay It Forward” fund which helps students with emergent needs. Each year approximately 40-percent of LLCC faculty and staff support the Foundation through this campaign. Our thanks to our generous LLCC faculty and staff for contributing nearly $54,000 to the 2016 LEAGUE campaign!
Again, the application deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. Awards will be announced at the LEAGUE kickoff on March 28. Please contact the Foundation at 6-2785 for more information.

The committee meets once a month beginning in October thru March and serves for at least two years. We ask the following of committee members:
Attend the one-hour monthly committee meetings (October – March). We will try to accommodate your schedule.
Participate by serving on a sub-committee that may meet once or twice
Help the day of the kickoff luncheon which is Tuesday, March 28, 2017 next year
Make a contribution to the LEAGUE Campaign. The amount is entirely up to the person. It can be $1, $1 per pay or more!
If you are interested, please contact Barb Eades by Friday, September 16 at 6-2255 for further details.
Contribute to the LEAGUE Campaign using payroll deduction by this Friday, April 29 at 5 p.m. to be entered into a drawing for lots of great prizes including $25 gas cards, car wash gift certificates, a basket from Food Fantasies and $150 cash donated by members of the LLCC Cabinet. Thanks to the nearly 150 people who have donated more than $47,000 so far. Funds from LEAGUE campaign go directly to support LLCC students through scholarships, grants and more. The LLCC Foundation realizes you have choices in philanthropic support and given the ever increasing demands on individual and family budgets, please know how grateful we are that you’ve chosen the students of LLCC to be the recipients of your generous donations.
