Rapid Enrollment Days. July 27, 5-8 p.m. July 28, 9-noon and 1-4 p.m. July 29, 9-noon and 1-4 p.m. LLCC Lincoln Land Community College.Rapid Enrollment Days on July 27, 28 and 29 provided great opportunities for students to get started at LLCC.

TikTok video: Where can an AFA in music take you?

In a fun spin on a “choose your fighter” video game, our latest TikTok shows students what careers are possible after majoring in music at LLCC. The video features Tanner Stephens and Graham Kinley, LLCC music majors; Sara Waller,  PRM student worker; Jason Waddell, professor of music; and Laurie Lewis-Fritz, instructor of music.

Workforce 101 and Rapid Enrollment Day events today

Workforce Institute. Workforce 101 July 28For those interested in a hands-on career, a Workforce 101 event is being held today from 5-8 p.m. Attendees can try their hands at construction, automotive technology, welding, culinary arts and hospitality, or aviation mechanics. Participants can roll up their sleeves to experience the kinds of work they would do on the job, and employers will be on hand to discuss careers in their industries. Rapid Enrollment Days July 27, 28, 29Main campus and LLCC Outreach Centers in Jacksonville and Beardstown are also hosting Rapid Enrollment Day events today. Sign up to assist at the Welcome Week table

LLCC Public Relations and Marketing would appreciate your assistance during fall Welcome Week! PRM is looking for volunteers to assist at the welcome table in A. Lincoln Commons Aug. 23-26 during the first week of fall classes. Help students get a great start to the semester by greeting them, answering their questions and providing directions! An FAQ reference sheet will be on the table along with highlighters to help in marking students’ routes to their classes. Because social distancing may not be possible when providing assistance to students, we ask those fully vaccinated to consider volunteering as greeters.

Campus Visit Day, Oct. 11

Mark your calendars! The fall 2021 Campus Visit Day will be Monday, Oct. 11 with two sessions, from 10 a.m. to noon and 5-7 p.m.

Campus Visit Day is a special campus preview event designed for individuals interested in starting or finishing a college degree or certificate. The event includes a welcome presentation, student panel and an exhibit area where visitors can speak with LLCC representatives from various academic programs and student services, learning how to get started with the enrollment process, how to pay for college and other information relevant to becoming a successful college student. Also, brief tours are offered of areas within Menard and Sangamon halls. Refreshments are provided by LLCC Culinary Arts.
