LLCC Public Relations and Marketing will be conducting a photo shoot on campus today and tomorrow, Oct. 27 and 28. The photos will be used on the website, social media, ads and publications. We have a schedule to visit various classrooms and activities but will also be taking some candid photos along the way.

Jeff Martin, Sierra Peterson and Kim Wilson represented LLCC at the 4th Annual Central Illinois HBCU and State College Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Union Baptist Church in Springfield. They talked with students and shared information about college and Workforce Institute programs as well as opportunities through the Open Door Workforce Equity Initiative.

Mackenzie Bryant, recruitment specialist, was interviewed for a segment of the Friday Night Rivals game broadcast on CW23 Oct. 14 featuring Taylorville and Lincoln High Schools. This Friday, Mackenzie and Kim Wilson, recruitment specialist, will be interviewed at the Southeast at Sacred Heart Griffin game in the final Friday Night Rivals broadcast of the season.

Today is Campus Visit Day!
Please help us welcome prospective students and their families today for Campus Visit Day! The event is being held at the LLCC Springfield campus and at Outreach Centers in Jacksonville, Litchfield and Taylorville.
There are two sessions, 10 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m., at the LLCC Springfield campus. Exhibits open at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Outreach Centers in Jacksonville and Taylorville will each host a session from 10 a.m.-noon. LLCC-Litchfield will host a session 5-7 p.m.
Please feel free to talk to any visitors you encounter about the advantages of enrolling at LLCC, and let them know we’re ready to help them experience college success!

The latest edition of FORWARD magazine will soon be arriving in mailboxes throughout the LLCC district and is now available online! Read about the latest happenings at LLCC. You’ll also find articles about our Phi Theta Kappa Five Star Chapter, outdoor living labs, eight-week classes, health care career training, free classes for those who work or have worked in childcare, HVACR, construction and continuing, corporate and professional education. This edition also provides spotlights on Tameka Johnson-Tillman (faculty), Greg Marantz (alum), Mack Alexander (staff), Giles Harris-Patel (student) and Addison Scarlette (student). There is also a list of all LLCC degrees, certificates and short-term training opportunities as well as Community Education classes.
