Dr. Karla Ivankovich, LLCC alum and 2018 recipient of the Illinois Distinguished Alumni Award from ICCTA, wrote yesterday’s LLCC essay in the State Journal-Register entitled, “Pay it forward: A lesson learned at LLCC.”

Lincoln Land Community College was the answer to a question on the July 3 episode of Jeopardy! In the Capital Colleges and Universities category, the $400 question was “What is Springfield?” So far, the LLCC Facebook post about this has reached over 17,000 people and received 173 likes and 131 shares.

The State Journal-Register‘s Best of Preps Baseball Player of the Year, Justin Beggs from Williamsville, will be attending LLCC and playing Logger baseball! In his senior year as catcher for the Bullets, he helped lead them to a 23-9 record and 2A regional title.
