African-American Food and Vendor Day, the culminating event in this year’s African-American History Month activities at LLCC, was covered by WICS and FOX Illinois. Laurie Clemons, academic advisor, was interviewed for the story.

LLCC’s electrical distribution lineman program, a partnership between LLCC and the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC), is featured in the story “Partnership empowers future lineworkers” in Illinois Country Living, a monthly publication of AIEC. Lynn Whalen, executive director, public relations and marketing, is quoted in an article about enrollment in Illinois colleges published in the Journal Standard, State Journal Register and Peoria Journal Star.
