The LLCC music program is featured in this week’s Illinois Times cover story “Music matters at Lincoln Land.”

The Madrigal Singers were pictured in the Dec. 12 SJ-R, performing at the Old State Capitol. They’ll also perform at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dana Thomas House.

Ron Riggle, head baseball coach and athletic director, and Justin Knoedler, assistant baseball coach, were guests of Sam Madonia on the AM Springfield show on Sports Radio 1450 Dec. 12. They discussed the weatherization program, new courses being offered , spring registration information and upcoming events at LLCC-Litchfield.

Mary Beth Ray, director, Career Development Services, and students Christine Robinson and Karla Martin, were interviewed Nov. 26 for a special tabloid in the State Journal-Register about jobs and retraining. The tab will run in mid-January.

Lynn Whalen, executive director, PRM, was interviewed by the SJR for a Nov. 23 story on LLCC joining the Illinois Energy Consortium, with expected energy savings of more than $90,000 per year.
