Distinguished Service Award nominations are due today! Please take a moment to nominate a deserving colleague for this award. The nomination form can be found at the top of the HR Employee Portal page under Quick Links. Completed nomination forms can be sent to Kim.Elder@llcc.edu.
New this year: Recipients of the 2022 Distinguished Service Award will receive a $1,500 allowance, which may be used for professional development opportunities or equipment/supplies* aimed at enhancing the employee’s ability to support Lincoln Land Community College.
*Equipment and other purchases become the property of the College.

HR is happy to announce that this year’s Employee Recognition Ceremony will be in-person! Mark your calendar for Thursday, May 12, at 3 p.m. in the Student Union. We hope you will plan to attend and take the opportunity to celebrate with your colleagues. As always, we will be celebrating your colleagues who are celebrating milestone anniversaries, who have retired or will be retiring this fiscal year, and recipients of the 2022 Distinguished Service Award. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving colleague for this award. The nomination form, as well as a list of previous recipients can be found on the HR > Employee Recognition section of the Employee Portal.

Who will be the 2022 Distinguished Service Award honorees?
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes more than the “employee of the year.” This award is given to LLCC employees who demonstrate exemplary leadership and service to the college community, promote a student-focused environment and exhibit a strong commitment to the college’s core values.
Recipients of the Distinguished Service Award will be selected from the nomination pool. If no one is nominated in a particular category, no award will be given. The committee does not widen the pool beyond those nominations received, so your nomination is important!
