LLCC Baseball continued play in the NJCAA DII World Series in Enid, Okla. yesterday. Kirkwood Community College defeated LLCC 12-2, bringing the Loggers’ season to an end. The Loggers finished the season 44-12 and with a seventh place finish in the NJCAA DII World Series. Congratulations to the Loggers on a great season!

Loggers continue NJCAA Baseball DII World Series play today
The Loggers baseball team headed to Enid, Okla. on Thursday for the 2021 NJCAA DII World Series. They played their first game on Sunday against Patrick Henry, losing the lead late in a 6-3 defeat. Due to heavy rain, the second game was rescheduled from yesterday to today at 10 a.m. versus Kirkwood Community College. Go Loggers!

LLCC has announced students who have earned Academic All-American and All-Conference honors for the 2020-21 academic year. Student athletes who earned a GPA of 3.60 or higher earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors; those who earned a 4.0 are noted with an asterisk. Student athletes who earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher earned Mid-West Athletic Conference (MWAC) Academic All-Conference honors.

The Loggers beat John Wood Community College 15-8 on Saturday to claim their second straight NJCAA Division II Region 24 title! They now head to Enid, Oklahoma for the NJCAA Division II World Series, which begins Saturday, May 29. Ron Riggle, athletic director and head baseball coach, was recognized as Region 24 Coach of the Year. Congratulations!

Emily Meidel named NJCAA D2 First Team All-American
Congratulations to freshman Emily Meidel on being named NJCAA D2 First Team All-American! Emily led the nation in total points scored and was previously named the MWAC freshman of the year, MWAC player of the year and region 24 player of the year.
Loggers’ esports Rocket League team wins national championship!
Congratulations to our LLCC Esports Rocket League team on becoming the NJCAAE spring 2021 national champions! After 12 weeks of competitve play among 43 community colleges, the Loggers gave a dominant performance over the weekend to bring home our second straight Rocket League title. The team once again finished their season 13-0.
